Claudio Marturano,

John started his aviation career in the RAF, serving as an Engineering Officer on the Tornado aircraft and then within the Military Aviation Authority. He joined EASA in 2011 in the Safety Analysis Team and in 2018 became EASA’s Head of Safety Promotion where he leads their Together4Safety promotion initiative to help the industry by providing practical information and support on a range of safety issues and other subjects.

Claudio started his aviation career as an EASA B1 engineer in base maintenance, before becoming the chief engineer of an international airline and being responsible for 15 aircraft and over 200 engineer and maintenance personnel. Claudio used the experience he had gained to create Nubis Aviation Training, an organisation developed to enhance the learning and development of aviation personnel. Now Chairman and CEO of the T-C-Alliance, a “one-stop-shop” for aviation training and consultancy that consists of over 40 organisations working together to develop resources for aviation personnel and leaders by ensuring a standardisation of high quality services and products.
