IAAPS, the International Association of Aviation Personnel Schools, is a global representative association whose members are Aviation Training Organisations (ATOs), airlines, companies, organizations or persons engaged in the training of aviation personnel.
IAAPS shall achieve its goals by:
- promoting appropriate standards towards authorities and industry;
- participating in public discussions concerning the standards of training of Aviation Personnel;
- representing the joint interest of the members towards authorities, societies, suppliers and other relevant organisations.
IAAPS is recognized by various national and international aviation authorities. The association is also part of the rulemaking group of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The organization currently represents 30 member schools and puts forward goals to improve the quality of pilot studies and to represent the schools in the official administrations, including the Civil Aviation Authority, and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
